Giving thanks
is an automatic outflow of those who love the Lord. There
is not a time in a believers life that they cannot give thanks
to God. I can't imagine my life not knowing who has provided
for all our needs. I can't imagine not realizing that our
Creator gave us his SON so that we could have life abundantly.
Yet, our world
does not recognize the Creator.
How often
do you give God thanks for giving you life? How often do you
give God thanks for giving you a family to love? How often
do you recognize his presence in your life? How often do you
give him thanks for protecting you in the world we live in?

"Giving
thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the
name of our Lord Jesus Christ;" Ephesians 5:20
"That
I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of
all thy wondrous works." Psalm 26:7
"Thou
art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power:
for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they
are and were created." Revelation 4:11
"For
all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might
through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God."
2 Corinthians 4:15
As you read
this: take time to list in your heart all the things you are
thankful for.
Family, prosperity,
friends, church, pets, jobs, and most of all the greatest
gift is salvation.
Happy Thanksgiving

Dear Jesus
I thank you for this special time of the year when I can reflect
on all I have been blessed with. Lord never let me out of
thy sight when I am lead in directions of change. Even with
this time of the year changing colors all around me, remind
me of thy great mercy and grace. Help me always to have a
heart of thanksgiving. Help me to appreciate the small things
in life. Help me to be a living witness daily. Be with all
our families during this special time as they gather together
with warm hearts. May we all realize you have been the giver
of all we have and for that we thank you with all our hearts.
Lord, a special thanks for godly friends who have been so
supportive this year. Bless their homes as they gather together
with thanksgiving. In Jesus Name.
AMEN
