If Only We Could Have This Same Fervor

St. Patrick's

We set aside this day as a celebration in remembering the Irish and their liberation to Christianity.

The wonderful shamrock represents: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.

St. Patrick was on fire for God. He was the patron saint of Ireland born in Wales about 385 AD. This young man at 16 or so was sold into slavery in which he drew close to God.

After escaping his captivity he studied under St. Germain and it is there he became aware of his calling to share Christianity to the pagans of his day.

Patrick is the Christian name he adopted so that he could convert many to Christianity. He found himself in jail and under arrest for his faith. For 30 years he was on mission to Ireland.

I dedicate this page to St.Patrick who despite the odds against him told of his new found faith.

Today we as Christian's should be challenged wherever we live to share Jesus Christ with all people we meet. America is a place where we still have the freedom to share the Good News.

Whether we are educated or just a lay person, Jesus is the Christ and it is because of His birth, death, and resurrection that we live.

St. Patrick shared passionately his faith and we should do the same.

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY
