Spring Is Here

I love spring and all the blooms of colors that I see. Even the hills around me are all green. In February I was driving to Las Vegas for a cheerleading competition for my neice. I was amazed of the colors in the Mojave Desert and desert in Nevada. I must say even though the drive was long, I loved seeing all the beauty through the valley and deserts of the west coast.

Now isn't that what life is about when we walk with Christ Jesus. Sometimes we see the beauty of his creation and we are filled with awe. Then at times when we are in the valleys we look to the dryness of our lives. But this time the valley was green and my physical and spiritual life was renewed by what I saw.

I recognize in the desert that there is so much life and we cannot even see all that goes on by the cactus, tumbleweeds, and what seems to be endless hills. But God knew when he created us that he would create perfect balance whether by the sea, in the mountains, deserts, or even vast fields of flat ground.

I love spring because everything rises from its long winter slumber. The trees bud, the grass awakens, the sky is filled with blue hues, the clouds wisp by, the birds sing sweetly, animals are basking in the warm sun, and we begin planning outdoor fun.

Now isn't it awesome how God created the seasons and they come upon us at just the right time. When you woke up this morning, did you open your eyes dreading the day or did you open them with expectation of a brand new day? I just love waking up to a cool morning then by early afternoon the sun is shining in the windows and I am warmed up.

Spring has a way of refreshing you each day. In fact: I like spring because the temperature is just right.

Just a small reminder from the Lord in his Word and a challenge:

"Behold, the Lord God will come with the strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young." Isaiah 40:10-11

God has plan for us his creation all we need to do is respond to His SON when he calls our name. Jesus came as the light of the world and we can see it through all creation that He lives and is coming to receive us unto himself.

When you wake up remember God created the seasons for our eyes to behold and enjoy and be refreshed from a long winters nap.
