When I first thought of this
lesson it reminded me of the ones who cannot have children
and the ones that don’t and want to adopt or even foster
parent and of course there is black market and legal ways.
But take this time to pray over this for these people that
desperately want to have and cannot.
Sarah is much like women today.
We desire God to answer our prayers or fulfill our needs but
we lend a hand in our supplications. I feel anytime I lend
a hand in a given situation I miss the greater blessing God
has promised. Sarah really tried to help God and in that help
she was disappointed. But when she fully saw God do what she
needed, she learned anything was possible if she would just
trust him more. I felt sad that Sarah only lived 28 years
after Isaac's birth. Also, thought it was interesting to find
out who her father was. Sarah did learn that God keeps his
promises. I am sure she spent many evenings telling Isaac
God was true to his word.
