Chapter
10 God's Promise of Protection
Psalm 23:5 ...in the presence of my enemies.

Look up the following verses.
Psalm 31:15 "my life is in God's
hands"
Psalm 46:1 "God is our help through
all troubles."
Psalm 145:20 "The Lord preserves
those who love Him."
Deuteronomy 33:27 "God is our refuge
and holds us in His protective hands."
Proverbs 2:7-8 "God gives wisdom
to His own and protects them who walk in is ways."
Psalm 32:7 "God is my hiding place
and will give me songs of deliverance."
2 Thessalonians 3:3 "God is faithful
to keep me in his care and keep me from evil."
Romans 8:37 "Mammy is more than
a conqueror through Christ Jesus who loves her."
Psalm 10:17 "The Lord hears those
who are humble and he prepares the heart."
Ps 34:7 "The Lord encamps around
Mammy and delivers her."
Nahum 1:7 "The Lord is a stronghold
when we face trouble if we trust in Him"
What is main theme of the above verses? When
Mammy obeys and humbles herself before the Lord He becomes
her stronghold in times of trouble. He encamps around her
life as she walks in the path he has set out for her. Mammy
need not fear no longer for she is a conqueror in Jesus Christ.
When I am asleep he guards over me, in my daily life he guards
over me, in my marriage he has set guard over it to preserve
it, and in my family he sets guard over them to draw them
into his arms of love.
What are the enemies in your life? I
have to admit as of today my enemy is unhealthy eating and
not enought exercize. As I read the results of the tests I
had I realized its a chance to learn how to eat right and
do it to where my life will be better. The Lord expects me
to care for the body he created and I really need to evaluate
why? God will help me if I obey him and ask him to help me
to take care of the life he has given me. I know God was working
ahead this week before I even knew I would have to go on a
diabetic diet. I shopped healthy in which I know he directed
my thoughts.
Does God say we will not be assaulted? "No
at all but he tells us to trust him and he will help us to
not be overcome by adversity. He will protect us and build
hedges of protection but our part is obedience.
Do you trust God to get you through it? Mammy
trusts God more than she has before. After seeing God work
out the particulars about church Mammy realizes she has been
in his care all along. I really hadn't trusted him like I
should. I let adversity steal my joy. Today I can say God
held me in the palms of his hands and I didn't deserve it.
He is worthy of all my hope and praise.
God
thank you for what you are doing in my life. I know that you
were there all the time but my tears flooded my sight. Thank
you for keeping me when I was wandering.
Lesson 11: Gods
Promise of Hope

"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me"
all the days of my life." Ps 23:6
Look up the following verses:
Lamentations 3:21-22 "God's mercies
fail not and we have hope in that his compassions never fail."
Philippians 1:6 "Jesus who began
his work in me will be faithful to bring it to completion."
Psalm 147:11 "God takes great pleasure
in Mammy when she fears and has hope in his mercy."
Romans 5:5 "The Holy Spirit testifies
to me that I am a child of God therefore I hope in God my
Savior."
Jeremiah 29:11 "God is with Mammy
and her enemies will be humbled before God and they will not
have victory over me."
What is God telling us? God promises
that he is my hope and his compassions and mercies fail not.
As he began his work in me he will finish what he started
and nothing will be able to take that from me. God has placed
his Holy Spirit in my life to seal me with his protection.
One of my favorite verses is in Joshua 1:8,9
Write it out. "The book of the
law shall not depart out of Mammy's mouth; but she shalt meditate
on it day and night, that she may be able to do all that is
written: for then God will make her way prosperous; and then
Mammy shall have good success."
What is God telling
us to do? "Trust and obey for there
is no other way. God has said Mammy keep your eyes on me,
study my Word, obey what you learn from me, and talk to me
and let me share my love with you."
Take the time to memorize this verse in whatever
version you are use to.
Read the story of Rahab in Joshua 2.
What things did you learn from this story? "God
uses ordinary people. He respects those that obey and serve
others. Even if it could cost them. God finds great pleasure
in showing his love to everyone who would accept him. The
scarlet rope of redemption she hung out the window. God protects
those who trust him.
Read Is 55:8 What does it tell us? "God's
thoughts are totally different than ours. He has nothing but
eternal matters in store for us." We tend to think of
earthly things because our journey is here surrounded by earthly
things. But God if we trust him will share heavenly things
with us.
Write out a prayer based on what you learned today.
Lord
Jesus I thank you for having wonderful plans in store for
me. Help me to trust in you and walk a life that is worthy
of the call. Help me to be faithful in times of trouble and
may I serve others because of my love for you. Lord I want
to serve you and be known as a child who loved her Lord and
gave all she had to be his servant. thank you Jesus for giving
me peace amid troubles. Thank you for showing me thy path
to everlasting life. In Jesus Name. AMEN
Lesson
12.

1 John 2:17 "The world passeth
away and the lust of the world, but he that doeth God's will
abideth forever." (when mammy does God's will she will
live forever)
John 3:16 "God loved the world
so much he sent his SON down to give eternal life to all mankind.
When we believe God gives us eternal life and we will never
perish."
John 11:25-26 "Jesus is the resurrectionand
the life: he that believeth in Jesus, though he were dead,
yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth and believeth shall
never die? Do you believe this?"
John 10:27-29 "We who are God's
sheep know his voice and we follow him. God promises nothing
can pluck us from his hand at all. Nothing. For God and Jesus
are one. God gave us to Jesus and he is greater than all."
Psalm 16:11 "Our God shows us the
path to him. In his presence is joy and pleasure forevermore.
(For to know God and be in his presence is joy unspeakable.")
John 14:2 "God has promised us
that in his house are many mansions and if it were not so
he would have told us. He has gone to prepare a place for
us."
Revelation 21:4 "God will wipe
all tears from our eyes in heaven, there will be no more death,
sorrow, crying, no pain, and all that was before will have
passed away."
Revelation 7: 10-17 "We all who
have believe and who have been redeemed will gather before
the Lamb in white robes with palms. We will gather with the
angels, elders, four beasts, and fall before our Lord and
worship him. We will worship our God in the highest form and
give him all glory, blessings, and honor. All creation saved
by the blood of the Lamb will bow before the Lamb and all
will be fed and all tear wiped from their eyes." We will
serve our God forever...
Philippians 3:20 "Our citizenship
is in heaven for we look to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior."
What do they tell you? "That our
names are gathered in heaven to never be taken from us. The
salvation God throught he SON gave us is sealed forever. When
we are gathered together from every part of the world we will
bow down and forever worship our King and serve him forever.
No more pain and suffering, just pure worship of our One and
Only King Jesus."
How
do you feel about worship time? "Much
richer each time I come before his throne of grace. More meaningful
knowing all he gave for me. Much holier when I recognize how
holy our God is. It is special when I enter into his gates."
How do you worship God?(if you want to share) "I
try to worship the Lord in every area of my life. I think
of him throughout the day and know he has made me happy in
my heart. I rejoice because he saved me from myself. I love
to sing to him and worship him when I do housework. I just
dance around the house or just sing my favorite hymns. I love
to read his Word. I see his handy work in my family's life
and for that I can worship him. He is most wonderful and faithful."
Finally read Psalm 84, and then write out a prayer of thanksgiving.
Lord I thank you for being the source
of my happiness. I thank you that you are with me everyday
no matter where I go. I thank you that you provide not only
for the birds of the air but for us your creation. Lord I
thank you that you are the reason I praise because you are
my source of life forever. There is nothing hidden from you
Lord and you know every intention of my heart. I thank you
God for giving me the privilage to serve you wherever I go.
Thank you Lord for saving my soul.
