Walking the Walk

1. I. believe in God the Son, God the Father and God the Holy Ghost: Yes

2. I believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ: Yes

3. The Bible, absolute truth or part fiction: Absolute Truth

4. How long do you visit with the Lord? prayer

5. How often do you read your Bible?: not as much as I should (I am ashamed to answer this)

6. Do you attend church regularly or do you only show up on special occasions or when you just feel like going? regularly

7. Have you ever participated in any church activities? weekly

8. Have you ever helped out in the children’s Sunday school classes? yes

9. If you saw a total stranger in need, crying, hungry, etc., do you minister to them or do you look the other way? Minister to them but pray and ask God for wisdom

10. Are you approachable or do people jack-knife away from you? approachable

11. If a regular member of the church has been ill, or has not been seen in a long time do you call or visit them, or wait for someone else to do it? (Be honest.) Call but work with others in contacting persons.

12. Motto, Live and let live or Let Go, Let God: Let Go and Let God

13. Do you believe that we are in the end times? Yes with all my heart.

14. Homosexuality, acceptable or an abomination: abomination Revelation says, they will not enter heaven.

15. Abortion, is it a choice? Do not kill but in all finality, it’s a persons choice. I don’t believe in abortion.

16. Drinking alcoholic beverages is it acceptable in any circumstance? I choose not to drink. Too many people have been killed by drinking drivers. My cousin died the night before my wedding this way.

17. Smoking, your thoughts: No way, not good for you. Cancer does not respect persons.

18. Do you believe the Lord likes it when you use profanity? We are told not to use unholy language.

19. You are driving along and the person in front of is driving 10 miles below the speed limit, talking on the phone and eating a hamburger, your thoughts: Well, can’t really say except I would pray nothing happens to them or me.

20. Do you believe in the Rapture? Yes

21. Do you believe you will be taken when He comes? Yes

22. Does prayer really work? Yes Or is it wishful thinking? No, believing prayer is from faith.

23. What you watch on TV or at the movies does it really matter if there is profanity, strong language with sexual content as long as it is a good movie? Unacceptable, course language or scenes is not acceptable to anyone. Can tempt you to sin or accept it as OK.

24. Do you believe that sex before marriage is a good idea? No we shouldn't have sex before marriage. We are to keep ourselves for our partner for life. I believe when we save ourself for our partner to be it builds a loving and trusting relationship.

25. Do you think your life reflects your walk with Christ for others to see? I do my best to live for Jesus but I am sure my life doesn’t always reflect my Lord as it should.

26. Do you believe that it is okay to socialize in places where drinking and smoking is allowed? Not for me. I choose not to and I would be terribly uncomfortable.

28. Do you believe once saved always saved? Absolutely Why or why not? The bible says No one is able to pluck me out of my Father’s hand. He says, he has sealed me with His Holy Spirit. PTL

Reflect on your answers. Does your life truly reflect your walk with the Lord. Most of the time. Or Are you a part-time Christian? There is not a day or moment that goes by that the Lord’s spirit doesn’t draw me to the Lord in fellowship. Do you find areas that you need to change? Of course, God is still working on me and I have lots of surgery that needs to be done in my life.
