Look up the following verses:

Deut 5:33

Mammy must walk the walk that God sets before me in everyday living. God has laid out all the instructions and expects me out of obedience to do His will for my life so that I may live a life filled with his blessings. One of the blessings in this scripture is that I may live a long life serving him.

Deut. 13:4

God is saying to Mammy that she must follow him all the days of her life. That she must fear Him as her God and when she hears him speak must obey what he instructs her to do. To cleave to him is to remain or abide in him every single moment that she breathes. Mammy realizes that she has the privilage to serve him all her life.

Proverbs 14:15

Mammy must learn to listen wisely and use the discernment that God has given her in weighing all matters. She must never trust her feelings but should pray and ask God to show her truth's in all things.

Psalms 23:4

The Lord says to Mammy to not work to become earthly rich for that is man's wisdom. I must use wisdom from God in my labor's.

Proverbs 19:21

Mammy you must realize that you have a mind that is pulled in many directions but if you submit your mind to me as your God I promise you wise counsel that will be eternal and have eternal values.

Proverbs 16:9

God promises to show me the way of life that is a blessing. For to trust my own heart is very risky and could cost me.

Proverbs 4:25-26

My mouth is to be used for holiness and not to be preverse. I must be an encourager and one not given to too much chattering of things that have no value to God. I must truly seek God's directions for my life and stay on his path so that all I do in the name of our Lord Jesus will be established.

What are the main things we learn from these verses?

Mammy's life is hidden in Christ Jesus to be used as a servant. That God has called me with a specific task and I am to use it with his wisdom directing my path. God wants my talk to follow my talk. For all I say and do will either have eternal value or harm others which would include my life not being blessed. God will guide me daily if I will seek him in prayer, bible study, and serving. I must keep my mind on him and in him.

Dear Lord Jesus I realize I am nothing without your guidance and help. I thank you for your Word, I thank you for your Son, and I thank you for your Holy Spirit as he guides me. And Father I thank you that I can call you Abba and depend on you. Lord thank you for how you will direct my feet from slipping and continuously guide me to serve you and others so that many will come to know you. Thank you Jesus for calling my name. Thank you that I can pray to you and you hear my heart's cry.
