When I think about God’s grace a deep feeling of thankfulness
and unworthiness comes into my heart. I just can’t help
but be thankful for his “unmerited favor” yet
I feel unworthy because I have sinned against our most holy
God. When we receive Jesus Christ as God’s grace gift
we are sealed with his Holy Spirit and completely forgiven.
Now another
part of God’s grace gift is that we receive also his
divine love and protection freely with his grace. Today I
really cling to that because my precious dad was diagnosed
with cancer a couple of weeks ago. Tonight I cling to the
promise and intercede on my dad’s behalf for God’s
grace to be sufficient. Without that promise at this time
I would be lost in my fears and emotions as his daughter.
But I am assured that God’s grace is sufficient for
all of us in the family.
2 Corinthians
12:9 “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for
thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly
therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the
power of Christ may rest upon me.”
Imagine
a world without the grace of God? Imagine the world without
ever knowing that God sent forth his only begotten SON to
be atonement for our sins? Imagine not having any peace through
the most difficult circumstances in this life?
Tonight
as I type my hearts thoughts I turn to Psalm
45:1-2 “My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak
of the things which I have made touching the King: my tongue
is the pen of a ready writer. Thou art fairer than the children
of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath
blessed thee for ever.” It is with great thanksgiving
that our Lord would look upon my life and show me his wonderful
promises to hold dear and be blessed by.

Proverbs
1:9 “For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy
head, and chains about thy neck.” God’s Word and
instructions are but a blessing to life. There is not one
issue in this life that cannot be dealt with in God’s
Word. I know some people would argue that but if they would
search the scriptures they would find grace from above.
I have
had many emotions the last couple of weeks but the prayers
of the saints and our family praying has brought much comfort
and strength. When I was a little girl dad was my hero and
today still holds that position. I have often heard if your
earthly father is a good man that trusting God the Father
will be even greater. It is true…
For as a young woman and as I grow older my dad has been strength
in my life through marriage, births, and losses. My “abba”
is the greatest strength and I truly depend on him in my marriage,
births, and losses. My dad’s example of love is why
I could run to God the Father arms and trust him with my whole
life through his SON Jesus.

If that
isn’t grace than I ask what is? Hebrews 4:16 “Let
us, therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we
may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
The promise
below is given to all who receive Jesus Christ as Lord and
Savior.
John 1:16 “And of his fullness
have all we received, and grace for grace.”
What
it means is God’s favor is blessings upon blessings.
Like the children’s story “Never Ending Story”
we have “Never Ending Blessings full of grace and truth.”
