The Fruit
of Love

Ever wonder what
it took for God to send us his only Son? Was his heart saddened as
he planned ahead how he would redeem mankind? I often consider in
my heart my love for my children and see how wonderful God’s
unconditional love reaches down through eternity to us. No matter
what choices my children or grandchildren make, my love for them will
never die. Just think? God’s love never dies for humanity because
he patiently waits for the very last person to receive him into their
life.

Love is patient:
God is patient with us.
Love is kind: God does not impart on us what we deserve.
Love is not envious: God does not hate his creation for sinning against
him.
Love does not boast: God does not find joy in our error of ways or
when we lose our path he has destined for us.
Love is not prideful: God does not take pride in one who refuses to
believe.
Love is not rude: God does not ignore our cries when we blow it. He
is always there for restoration of our lives.
Love does not seek its own way: God desires us to all be saved by
His Son’s love on the cross.
Love isn’t easily angered: God is tolerant of us and is not
easily angered. If we got what we deserved it would be the death penalty.
But God loves us and patiently waits for our return to him.
Love keeps no records of wrongs: God forgives us for all sin and does
not throw it up in our face ever again. We are washed in his holiness
and righteousness.
Love does not delight in evil: God cannot accept sin and finds no
delight when we stray from his goodness, mercy, and truth.
Love rejoices in truth: God finds great pleasure and joy when we as
sinners run to the cross of forgiveness and are cleansed.
Love protects: God promises us to provide a way of escape from Satan’s
traps.
Love trusts: God has empowered us and trusted us to share the Good
News.
Love perseveres: God has given us the will to continue to serve him
in all we do in this earthly journey.

Lord help us this
very day to keep thy golden rule as to: Love one another as you have
loved us. Help us to glorify you in all we say and do. May everything
in us give a hope to a hurting world. Thank you Father for sending
Jesus to us because you loved us so much. Oh your love may it always
be before us as we daily live for you.
