Friendship in the Circle of Faith These precious adoptions are part of my circle of friend's that God has so richly blessed me with and I will never stop giving God praise for their prayers, love, and support through the years. "A friend loveth at all times," Proverbs 17:17 A friend cannot be bought but is truly a gift from God. Friends are there when the going gets tough. Friends know the truth that sets free.
I met Iva when we volunteered in the school my grandchildren went to. She is from Czechoslovakia and the sweetest person I know. What is awesome about her is her faith in Jesus Christ. I am so blessed by her gentle spirit and love for her children. She is truly a "ruby in God's kingdom." Pretty special friend... There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about the value of her friendship. She calls or sends me messages at times when I need it. I just love the fact that God put us together as friends. Love you Iva forever and ever.... I met Lettie when we were searching for a church to join. What is funny is she had visited the church she told us to go to and we joined first. She is dear to me and one of the sweetest women of faith I know. She lives for Jesus every day of her life. Actually, she is a country girl by heart. (Arkansas) She has been my "mentor" since I was a young woman and I call her my big sister. She studies God's Word and also teaches others to seek God with all their hearts. She leaves a legacy "passion for the living Word." Thank you my former SS teacher and showing me how deep a person can go in relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus...Love you LettieMae
Janice and I met when I was in my early 20's. She is from (Missouri) and what a blessing she is to our home church. She is truly a prayer warrior of our church. Many times when someone in my family was battling cancer God placed in my mind she on her knees praying on behalf of our family. If I were to put a phrase about her in a book it would be: "a woman after God's heart." Her children call her blessed just like Proverbs tells us. A woman of noble character and strength. God put us closer when we went through the "Tsunami" of life together. I love you Janice...God blessed me with your friendhship...
Linda and I became close through the years when God called me to lead women in Bible Study. Many times I saw Linda digging deep into God's Word and could witness God working in her life. What is awesome is I got to witness Him calling her into ministry. What a blessing she has been in my life when I needed a person's support during trying times in leadership. We now are a team endorsed by Jesus Christ. We share the passion to lead women to study God's Word. She truly is a "woman of faith." Love you Linda for your purity of faith... Monika is a precious German woman and I just love her accent. I don't think I have ever met someone that had such a positive affect on my life. No matter what is happening around us she see's good. She loves flowers and her garden is like walking in a small part of heaven. I just love being with her and just love hearing her talk. She is married to a harley-man and we have shared some great rides on our husbands bikes. Her husband truly considers her a blessing and treats her with great respect. I know she loves her children and grandchildren very much. I consider her "a fruitful vine that has produced lots of sweet smelling aromas." Thanks Monika for your kindness and love...I love you.... Now comes my sweet baby sister whom I prayed for when I found Jesus Christ. I honor her because she has grown so much in Jesus Christ and he has brought us together through many hardships as children. But God truly is a joy in our lives because he healed us. Our love for one another will never die no matter where we are in this life. She loves her husband, home, children, and grandchildren. I consider her "a woman who God totally transformed" and "a woman of peace." God has richly blessed me and encouraged me through her life. Love you Debbie Joyce forever.... If anybody ever was loyal and true is the friendship with Kim. She has strength, dignity, and integrity. She is one who has the gift of truth in her. She loves the Lord and truly studies to show herself approved. She sees deep understanding into what God has to say to us. I have been so blessed by her faithfulness to the Lord and his Word. She is kind and totally devoted as a mother of 2 young adult children. She is truly a blessing to her husband and makes his home a warm place to rest. One thing I have to note is Kim has a child (doggie) which is her adopted child. Now if I was to name Kim something she would be "a woman who climbs mountains." She truly is one committed to the tasks of life. God Bless you Kim and I am blessed by your friendship. Love you Kim.... I have been blessed with 2 friends named Kim. The one I am sharing now is a young mother of 2 precious little girls. She is devoted to her husband and daughters and works full-time. I am amazed as I watch her do all she does. God sent her in my life when I needed strength. She is strong, loving, kind, and a blast to be around. I love her zest for life and its realities. You definately can't pull the wool over this young woman's eyes. I consider her "the finest gold" because she is a radiant young woman. I do not think she feels that way about herself but that is why I can say she sparkles. God blessed me with her at just the right time in my life. Hey girl, you keep your eyes on Jesus forever... Love you my lil sister in Jesus... Now this next friend is a pretty strong young career woman name Donnella. I watched her grow up and even shared in her celebration of new life in Jesus Christ. She and I have sung together, served together, cried together, and pursued holiness together. If I were to give her a name it would be "a woman of strength." Even though she has had her own trials of life she hung in there and overcame such testing. She is happily married and has many sweet pets which she loves dearly. I am compelled to say, "she is true to her convictions." Hallelujah for one who sticks to what she believes. She is gifted with discernment and allows God to show her his truths in life. Hey Girl, ya keep your chin up and be happy with that sweet husband of yours. Love you much Lil Sister. I never know when God is going to bring a new friend to encourage faith through our friendship. Della came into my circle with such a precious sweet spirit. Even when she traveled to the Phillipines I received encouragement almost every day while she was traveling. I have no idea what she looks like except I believe she must have angel wings attached. It is a joy to email her and she emails me with such encouragement. I never imagined a friend on the internet could be such a blessing. Della reminds me of the finest "opal." Fiery and full of color. I know she is a blessing to many people she ministers to. Keep reaching the hurting and shining for Jesus my precious Della. My dear friend of love and encouragement is Sue. She always gives me a hug and just makes me feel so loved. There have been times when my world seemed to be crashing down and she either sent me a card or gave me a gift that just blessed me and brought me out of my low down zone. If I want to know the truth all I have to do is talk with her and ask for her advice and she is open and true to me. I think of her as a "woman of excellance." Now I know she wouldn't even dream of herself being that woman but she truly is an example for many of us women at church. I will not leave out that she is one of the best cooks in our church. Sue is that "perfect diamond" for the Lord's light shines in her life and reflects on all of us. I love you Sue and thank you for your wonderful wisdom from above. Precious Minnie is heaven sent to me as a dear friend. She is a strong woman of the Lord and has a heart of gold. I see a woman who loves deep and cares for her family and friends. When she commits to a task this precious lady goes for the gold and that is what I love about her. During our most difficult days together she was straight forward and honest which is one lovely attribute of Christ being her Lord. The thing that amazes me about Minnie is she is a down home country girl. I consider her a "brilliant emerald." She shines with gentleness, has a deep faith in God, and she reflects a deep abiding love for others. Minnie there is so much that I could share about you but this page ain't long enough. You are dear to me and I will always love you as a sister in Jesus. If I could share about sweet Kricket it would be a blessed servant has entered my life through the SHC. Kricket has been an inspiration to me on how much she loves the Lord. She is filled with love and encouragement. I met her as I joined a group of women who desire to study God's Word. She has always been faithful in her commitment to the SHC group. If I were to give Kricket a name it would be "a woman of beauty." Of course she doesn't realize that because her heart is so soft and tender. I consider Kricket a "brilliant garnet", she is rich in God's mercy, kindness, love, deep emotions, and a soldier of the cross. Thank you dear Kricket for you wonderful sharing heart. You truly are a beautiful lady of the Lord.
Now my precious best friend is Tricia. Yes, she is a Pastor's wife and my sister in law. I have never met someone so committed to life as she is. She thinks she is not special but I think she is super. We have known each other since we were 18 years old. We married brothers and boy we can sure share a lot about these two old men. LOL If I were to name Tricia she would be named "a woman of a pure heart." Yes, Tricia that is what you reflect in your life even though you think different. I also think you are like the precious gem "ruby." You have a great sense of humor, you sparkle just like a beautiful sunset, your true to who you are and believe, you are virtuous, you work hard to help provide, and most of all you are the most sweetest person I have known in my life. You have a distinct sparkle in those pretty eyes of yours and I love you Tricia with all my heart. We will win this race set before us. My next friend whom God sent me is Teddie. She is precious as gold and shines like a diamond. In the last year she has encouraged me, prayed for me, taught me, and listened to me. During my most difficult times in my home church she was there to pray. I know God heard her prayers for I have seen God work. I have never seen her physically but spiritually I have seen her through God's eyes. She reminds me of a beautiful Blue sapphire. Strong, deep, and holds true to her God. She has many gifts and she shares them. The first time I heard her voice I loved the little southern draw. It was so precious. So when we meet in heaven I know that voice I will recognize. We both will celebrate sharing our hearts through our journey here on earth. Love you much Teddie.
My next friend is from my home church. Her name is Joline and what a gift she has. When things seemed out of control in my life. Everyweek she sent me a card and still does. I get this big smile on my face when I see her writing on a envelope. I know when I open it my heart and life is being prayed for. I love her so much as a sister in Jesus. Joline does not walk but is in a wheel chair and she never never complains. She fully trust Jesus for her life and keeps on keeping on. She reminds me of the finest jewels God has created as He adorns heaven. She will be a pearl, solid, beautiful and radiant. She will probably never see this tribute to her but I consider her a angel here to pray for those suffering. Joline I love you so much and am blessed to have you in my life. You are a true servant of God. |
