Ever wonder why our Lord puts us together as a circle of friends? I am just beginning to understand how He draws us as close friends.

We all share a common bond: first our faith in Jesus Christ His Son, our lifestyles, our common passions, our needs, our family, our love, and most of all the trials in the Christian faith is what I believe to be the glue that bonds us together.

I have been blessed with a variety of friendships through the years but I never really understood true friendship until life handed a few twists and turns.

Yes, the true friend encouraged, prayed, and sought me out. She is the type of friend only God sends my way. She is strong, she is gentle, she is tender, she is committed to Jesus Christ, she is loving, and she is not afraid to be herself.

"A friend loveth at all times," Proverbs 17:17a

Each month I will describe a precious friend that has helped me to grow deep in the Lord.

This April I dedicate this page to a precious angel sent to me through prayer. I met Della as an Internet prayer warrior and I am so blessed to have her as a friend. We have had some beautiful times together with sharing our love of Jesus. She truly has a most beautiful gift of encouragement. There is not a day that goes by my life isn't touched by her sweet words of mercy and compassion and prayers.

She has the voice of an angel and I have been privilaged to hear her angelic songs written by her love of Jesus.

I always share with her about we may not meet here on earth but in heaven we will be introduced by our Savior and we will cry and celebrate the love he has given us.

When the circle of friends begins to widen God draws us together and teaches us about love and acceptance. He uses all of us to encourage and esteem one another through life situations.

This precious friend will always be a part of my cirlce and she is truly full of life and blessed by God. She is one of my encouragers in life as a child of God. She has strengthened me when I felt like I had melted into the ground of life.

I praise God for my friend who has always been there for me.

Thank you my precious sister in Jesus. Only God could create someone so beautiful.
