Time
has sure flown by since Christmas and now spring is here.
Resurrection Sunday is precious to we who love the Lord and
walk in his path of righteousness. Imagine a day without the
wonderful knowledge of God and how we can walk his path and
find freedom to be his delight.
“But
his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth
he meditate day and night.” Psalm 1:2
Do you
delight in walking with our God, through the Son, and in the
power of the Holy Spirit? It is the best life here on earth
has to offer. There is no other path of safety but basking
in our Savior’s light.
Many
people I know are planting beautiful gardens right now and
they share how wonderful it is to wait in expectation for
the flowers or plants to bring forth the work of their labor.
So we as God’s children are like tree’s planted
in God’s garden here on earth but we are fertilized
by His church. Yes, the church plays a vital role in our growth.
We come together to share the Word and stimulate one another
to grow. Then we walk side by side helping each other to be
all that God wants us to be.
“And
he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that
bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall
not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”
Psalm 1:3
So part
of being on the pathway of righteousness is a tree is fed
and nutured and then it brings forth fruit. We all have steps
in our walk and in due season God will grow us up to be fruitful.
How do you keep your steps pure so that your tree blooms with
a pleasant scent before God? Do you take counsel with godly?
Or do you find yourself more in the crowd with ungodly?
God only
blesses us when we sit in his presence. There is no other
bench to rest on then bowing down before the One True God.
God knows our path and he will guide us if we just surrender
our lives in every aspect.
“For
the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of
ungodly shall perish.” Psalm 1:6
Today
as you think about your spring season, remember to walk the
path of righteousness through the roadmap called the Bible.
