Genesis: where it all began….
Read Genesis Chapter 1:1-5
- When you think of the beginning in verse 1…what goes through your mind? What is God telling us in verse 1 and 2?
- How is our God described in verse 2? How do you personally relate to Him this very moment as you read this passage?
- What condition is the earth in?
- We are told darkness was upon the face of the waters? How do you see this darkness? Think about this question???
- The Spirit of God moved on the face of the waters...what does that mean?
- What happens on the first day? (and God said)(and God saw)(and God called) I have put three things how God responded to His acts of creation…think on each one and describe in your own words what they mean…ask God to help you understand the power in these words!
- How did God divide the dark and light? There are 4 names he uses…list them!
Today and tonight when you go outside…look up into the day skies and night skies…do you see God’s handiwork…praise him for it…aren’t you glad to be apart of creation…to have the privilege to worship Him???
