Genesis 1:14-25

Review Genesis 1:1-13.

After reading and seeing just who our Creator is we now go into the 4 th-6 th day in which God creates seas, lands, vegetation, heavenly bodie, animal life not only in the waters but the seas. Close your eyes right now and look through God’s eyes…He has a master plan at work and what a great artist we will witness in His Word but even out our windows or doors.

Read Genesis 1:14-19.

So far all that God has created is very good. Now we see God places light in the firmament…what is its purpose? I can find several reasons why God has placed this wonderful light…see he already has us on his mind.

He tells us he created 2 great lights with purpose…What are they? What is their purpose? I challenge you to go outside and look up into the night skies and you will behold God’s handiwork…It is humbling to see all God did…I have be in awe of the stars when we drove at night in Arizona. We are blessed…

God is very involved in the placement of the stars…what are we told?

When God is finished with placing the lights, what day is this?

On the 5 th day God fills the seas…he fills the skies…Are we given a name for these creatures? How does God bless them? Can you see the earth in your mind at this time…Praise God for his creation.

Not only do our seas and skies have living creatures but God said: let the earth bring forth living creatures: What are these living creatures…name them?

After God said, God made, and God saw, what was his thoughts and was he pleased?

Our group of Just Us 6 have just received a blessing in one of our families. A newborn has been given to 2 young people but do you realize who created this young one? Do you realize that before he was placed in Samantha’s womb that God knew him? As you close this study, first pray for this child to be raised in the Lord…For I know this young couple wants God to look down through time and say it is good. In other words…are you willing to nuture, tend, and care for this young creation God has blessed you with? This goes for all of us who have been entrusted with such a gift.

Close this study with thanksgiving…We praise you God for you are the Creator of all things and have purpose for all things.
