HAPPY NEW YEAR 2005
December 31, 2004

I know by now the
weather has changed. It is cooler where I live but the snows
have covered many states here in America. Most of us are with
family or snuggled in blankets in our homes.
The new year is
approaching and I wonder if you take a look back at what blessings
you received this year, what trials you have been carried
through, and how you can live deeper for your Lord Jesus?
"I
in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in
one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and
hast loved them, as thou hast loved me." John 17:23
Personally I never
stop Celebrating the Nativity. I can revisit it everyday if
I desire to. But as life must go on I have other desires.

In this life we
live we have the opportunity in Christ Jesus to consistantly
be changed. As spring passed, summer flew by, fall dropped
on us quickly, we are now set for the winter. My life is in
constant change as I examine my spring, summer, fall, and
winter.
"Say
not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest?
behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the
fields; for they are white already to harvest." John
4:35
I have found this
year that my God supplied our needs. He was with us through
floods of life trials, he carried us when we couldn't see
before the storms, and he was with us when we couldn't even
comprehend what was in store for us.
"I
will love thee, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my Rock,
and my Fortress, and my Deliverer; my God, my Strength, in
whom I will trust; my Buckler, adn the Horn of my Salvation,
and my High tower." Psalm 18:1,2
I felt sometimes
that my world
would
crash and then the Lord would gently ask me, "Do you
trust me?" I am so grateful for how God has carried my
family this year through troubles. Since I am writing this
in November my faith is still set on the Rock of my Salvation.
My dad is still struggling with health and my husband and
I have had hard news told to us about our parents health.
"In
the Lord I put my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a
bird to your mountain." Psalm 11:1
OK! The snow balls
here represent lots of trials
this
year but we look with anticipation on what God can do and
will do through these difficult times. I know God is able
to do exactly what He has promised if only we would believe.
""How
natural it is that I should feel as I do about you, for you
have a very special place in my heart." Phillipians 1:7

Are you like me?
The
one who cares for even the smallest birds will take care of
us who are his highest creation? As you reflect on this New
Year I challenge you with these questions?
Is your life still
centered on Jesus?
Is He what you live
for?
What did you lack
last year that you know you must commit to this year?
Is there a favorite
promise that you can commit to memory for 2005?
Has God spoke to
your heart about how he plans to use you in the coming year?
Do you have more
faith?
Does
your hope reflect Jesus?

Dearest Lord Jesus
thank you that you have remained faithful to our family and
year. We look forward to waiting and watching in our lives
on how you will challenge us to grow deeper in you. Be with
those who are without hope, be with those who need that wonderful
assurance of eternal life, be with those who are sick, be
with those who cry at night, be with those who are angry,
be with those who are on the road to destruction, and Lord
be with those in the world who hunger and thirst for you.
In Jesus Name. AMEN
I
wish all of you who are a new beginning to have a most blessed
2005. May our God be your peace and hope. May he cause his
light to shine upon you. May he give healing for hurts and
diseases. Mammy
